Video interview with Keith Read

One of this year’s keynote speakers, Keith Read, former Group Compliance & Ethics Director at BT and author of The Unconventional Compliance Officer, brings a refreshing, yet well-structured and holistic perspective to the field. In his upcoming talk, “The Unconventional Compliance Officer – Doing Things Differently,” on 10th of October, Keith will share how creativity, storytelling, and courage can transform the way organizations approach ethics and compliance.

In a recent video interview with the conference director and president of EICE – European Institute of Compliance and Ethics Andrijana Bergant, Keith shares the back-story about how he came into the compliance director position at BT. He also highlights what he had captured in his book, as some of the most effective approaches to effective compliance management, including the necessary shifts in organizational culture, many of which he will present in his session at BCEC 2025.
